Mercy
Dear Rally Partners,
Today, I want to talk to you about MERC. To me, God’s mercy means:
His Love - His Goodness - His Kindness - His Covenant
As we head into 2021, we need to receive God’s mercy to help us overcome in all areas!
I like what the Psalmist said in Psalm 126 about the time God’s people came out of exile in Babylon. As long as God’s mercy is working for us and activated in our lives, we can experience His love, goodness, and kindness.
We can’t make God do good things for us because we’re good people, or because we think we deserve it. The only way to receive from God is to acknowledge His mercy. I like to say it like this: mercy is the serving plate that allows us to experience God’s love, goodness, kindness, health, joy, and prosperity.
If we stood in front of God with out His mercy, we would be guilty and condemned; Mercy is the filter
between us and God! Bless God, Jesus is God’s Mercy!
What causes God to place His stamp of approval on us? It’s His mercy! We need to live with that in mind. Some people are waiting for God to perform some great and mighty exploit in their lives because they think He owes it to them, or because they’ve been such a good Christian that has followed all His commands.
No, no, no! God wants us to receive His love, His goodness, and His kindness because mercy is His covenant to us. It’s His way of being God to us! Mercy is God’s nature. Mercy is the bridge between us and God. Jesus is mercy. Mercy is the serving plate on which we receive the BLESSING of God. God does the work in my life because of his Mercy!
This bears repeating: the Psalmist said as long as God’s mercy is still working and activated in our lives, we can experience it. Mercy means God’s love, God’s goodness, and God’s kindness.
Psalm 136:1-26, KJV
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Stop and think about that phrase. “For his mercy endureth for ever...” It endures because God’s mercy is
activated and working for us!
O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Proverbs 3:3-4, KJV
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
We need to do everything we can to not let mercy slip out of our lives. We need to keep it daily at the
forefront of our minds and in our hearts, for it will bring God’s favor. We need to WEAR mercy!
Rally Partners, I encourage you to confess daily what the Psalmist said: “As long as God’s mercy is working and activated in my life, I can experience Gods’s mercy! That means I will experience God’s love, God’s goodness, and God’s kindness!”

Also, thank you for your love gifts to Rally Ministry each month. When I see the seed you’ve sown, I say, “Now, this is God’s mercy, love, goodness, and kindness.” Glory!
